COMPOSITE
Shade matched to the tooth.
Contains no mercury.
A more modern material.
Requires minimal tooth removal helping to conserve the tooth.
Not always ideal for large fillings in back teeth.
Takes more time to place than a similar amalgam fillng.
More expensive than amalgam for a similar sized filling.
