The Cerezen device offers support to the Tempromandibular joint (TMJ) to reduce strain. The result is a reduction in the amount of pain that you experience through the device encouraging the jaw to return to the open jaw position and therefore reduces grinding and clenching.
For years we have been providing occlusal mouth guards for patients who suffer from TMJ pain but found that patient compliance was fairly low… Now we can offer an alternative which is comfortable and won’t affect speech or appearance (areas which occlusal guard wearers were mainly concerned about). It can be worn at all times, day and night (and removed for bathing and swimming), has no adverse effects on eating, speech and hearing and it’s discreet with no negative long term effects!
