Zoe inspected my teeth whilst discussing the progress to date. Most of the work seems to have been done and the alignment of both my top and bottom teeth looks perfect. My only reservation was the size of the gaps between the lateral and central incisors of the upper set, this required further filling of the right lateral incisor. Following this is was only necessary to re-attach fresh elastics ie the power chain and elastic to weave around the brackets.
Unlike the previous appointment I have not had any problems either with the brackets catching the soft tissue or my teeth aching. I think this is probably because the teeth are now where they should be, which suggests to me that this first phase of the treatment involving wearing the fixed braces may well be drawing to a close…
