Have a healthier Easter…..
Ok so before we get lynched we are absolutely not suggesting that you skip the chocolate this Easter.. and just this once we will turn a blind eye to chocolate for breakfast BUT if you are looking for some healthy alternatives to chocolate this Easter hopefully you will find these suggestions helpful..
Easter Egg breakfast pops- Mix some natural yoghurt with granola and blueberries then put in the fridge to set overnight- a lovely tasty Easter (or anytime treat)
Easter Shaped Fruit- Think a fruit kebab and use an Easter cutter to make bunny and egg shapes with the thinly sliced fruit. Or go freehand! You can buy some low sugar icing too to make little faces or Easter patterns.
Strawberry Carrots- Sounds weird but bear with us! Dip your strawberries in yogurt with a small amount of orange food colouring and put them in the fridge to set slightly. And you have a sweet alternative for an Easter treat!
Carrot egg nests- Use some cupcake cases and grate some carrot. I would recommend giving it a squeeze after to get rid of the excess water then use this as the nest base. Them use some cucumber to make little Easter eggs to live in the nest. A lovely looking healthy alternative!
